Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge checks the student’s ability to apply mathematics in daily life. In the present scenario, it is imperative that students apply mathematical concepts, facts, procedures and reasoning to solve mathematically formulated problems to obtain mathematical conclusions. Students should also be able ito reflect upon mathematical solutions, results or conclusions and interpret them in the context of the real-life problem. Preparing for the challenge, students recognized and identified opportunities to use mathematics and then provide mathematical structure to a problem presented in contextualized form informed A. S. Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro.
