In view of rising corona cases, a two-day shutdown was imposed in Nabarangpur district on Thursday.
Collector Ajit Kumar Mishra said the shutdown would begin from 5 am on August 1 to midnight on August 2. During this period, only essential services would be allowed to operate. Shops selling grocery, vegetables and milk would remain open from 6 am to 1 pm.
Movement of employees of Central and State Government offices would be allowed.
So far, 236 persons of the district have tested Covid positive.
