The All India Students Federation (AISF) on Sunday demanded extension of the period of online submission of application for admission to various Plus II courses in view of delays being caused by internet problems amid the Covid pandemic.
“Online application process has begun from August 21. It has been marked that students are facing difficulties due to internet failure. During the Covid pandemic, students should be allowed sufficient time for submission of application beyond the scheduled last date of September 4,” alleged AISF State president Sanghamitra Jena.
She too stated that thousands of students have already registered names but haven’t submitted application. The Government is knowingly creating such problems in order to help privately-run institutions to get more students.
