Villagers now to get house certificates

Monday, 31 August 2020 | Pradeep Saxena | Aligarh

Good news for the villagers. Now they will get a certificate of their house built in the village like a khatauni of the farm. With this, they will be able to take a loan from the bank. Until now, they did not get the benefit related to the house due to lack of ownership of the land. The State Government has started a proprietary scheme for this. In this, 100 villages of the district have been selected in the first phase. Of these, 20 villages have been taken from each tehsil. A joint team of accountant and secretary has been formed for the survey. Then there is a preparation to conduct a survey with the drone.

ADM  DP Pal said that till now people in the village do not have any ownership of the population site. Nobody's name is recorded in the revenue record. Now the state government has started the proprietary scheme to give ownership to the people. In the first phase, the scheme is being implemented in 100 villages of the district.

After this, the survey will have to be completed in 200 villages in 1 month.

On getting the ownership, the villagers will be able to take loan from the bank on the house.

A joint team of Lekhpal and Gram Panchayat Secretaries has been formed for the survey in the selected village. The team will identify the entire village population and government land. After this, the details will be collected. The team will draw a map and give it to the district level. Then the drone will do the survey of the village with camera. Drone will also draw a map. The two maps will be matched, after which all the records will be digitalised. After all this, any person will be able to get the certificate of his house like Khatauni.
