Everyone is horrified by the corona pandemic, at the same time people are careless also when it comes to taking precautions. Neither people are taking care inside the house nor outside. Some people are even avoiding the use of masks and social distancing. 189 new virus cases were reported. Around 4000 have been found infected since April. More than 2500 covid infections were detected in August. There were 174 patients in lockdown, this number increased 22 times in unlock.

Looking at the data of 95 percent of patients in unlock, during first lockdown (25th March to 14th April) only one infected patient was detected. In the second lockdown (25th April to 3rd May), this figure rose to 43. In the third lockdown (4th to 17th May), it jumped to 85 and in the fourth lockdown (18th May to 2nd June), the number increased to 174. It took about two months to cross this figure. In the first unlock (3rd to 30th June), this number reached 490 and in the second unlock (1st to 31st July), it increased to about 1450. In the third unlock (1st to 30th August), the number exceeded 4000. 95 per cent of the total cases were reported in unlock.

Apart from the increasing number of Covid patients, the number of recovering patients is also increasing . Over 2700 have been recuperated so far. The recovery rate is more than 70 per cent. According to the experts, a good recovery rate does not mean that people become careless about the infection. More than 30 patients have died. CMO Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh Kalyani said that reckless people are putting others at risk.

The health department has advised people to take Ivermectin medicine to avoid corona infection. CMO Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh said that children between 5 and 12 years of age should take Ivermectin 600, those who are above 12 years of age should take 12 mg tablets with plain water on the first, seventh and thirtieth day. People who have a corona infected patient in their family should take ivermectin continuously for three days.

On Sunday, Corona broke all the records so far in the district. According to the list of infected people released by the district administration, 189 people were found infected. At the same time, an RAF pharmacist died from Corona. The condition of the second pharmacist remains critical. In this way, the number of infected in the district has reached 4183, while 1432 cases are active.

DM called the CMO and Corona control room and gave orders for all the infected to be admitted to  L1, L2 and home isolate based on their symptoms.
