During the lockdown, Metro Railway has taken up extensive maintenance works of Rolling Stock, various different passenger amenity items and safety items. Accordingly, maintenance works of CCTV cameras installed at 24 North- South Metro stations have also been done in this period.
Special emphasis has been given to lens cleaning work of these cameras as well as testing their efficiency. These maintenance works will help Metro Authorities to ensure enhanced passenger safety at Metro premises once Metro services resume.
