SS Rajamouli’s RRR satellite rights will be sold for the highest amount known in Indian cinema
SS Rajamouli is known for directing 11 consecutive hits at the box office in 18 years. Top three national networks are trying to acquire the satellite and digital rights of #RRR, his new venture starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan. The team of #RRR has reportedly quoted a price of Rs 250 crore and thus surpassed the record of 2.0. The makers are not ready compromise on anything lesser. For the record, Rajnikanth and Shankar’s film, set a record where the satellite and digital rights were sold for approximately 170 crore.
Rajamouli’s career graph makes most people believe that irrespective of what he makes, it will be a hit. Baahubali: The Beginning and The Conclusion reinforced this.
The first 10-day schedule of the film with 10 days was finished in November. The second schedule of the film started on January 21.
It is also reported that RRR will be made in more than four different languages, and is expected to shatter the records for holding the highest amount of satellite and digital rights.
