Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended Diwali greetings to Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh Yadav and former chief minister of UP, Kalyan Singh, by visiting them at their respective residences on Wednesday.
Yogi first visited Mulayam’s residence on Vikramaditya Marg and enquired about his health.
Mulayam Singh Yadav’s younger brother and Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) founder Shivpal Singh Yadav greeted the Chief Minister there.
The Chief Minister was closeted with the SP patriarch for almost 30 minutes and also presented some books to the veteran SP leader and wished him good health.
On June 10, Yogi had visited Mulayam Singh Yadav at his residence to enquire about his health. At that time, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, his two children and Shivpal Yadav were also present.
After visiting Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Chief Minister’s motorcade went to the Mall Avenue residence of Kalyan Singh, who is staying at the official bungalow of his grandson and UP minister Sandeep Singh.
Yogi wished Kalyan Singh good health and exchanged Diwali greetings.
Kalyan’s son and BJP MP from Etah, Rajveer Singh, and other members of the family were present.
