A theatre workshop is being organised by Hum Theatre Group wherein the young theatre artists are being trained on various aspects of theatre. The young theatre artists will showcase their talent presenting the different plays on the conluding day.
The 50 day workshop is being carried at Patrakar Bhawan.
How the drama is scripted, how the concept is selected, how it has to be presented and what major things have to be kept in mind while presenting a play is being taught to the youngsters.
Besides, the participants of the workshop are learning about the other forms of stage arts like dance and music including the stage craft as well. The workshop majorly focuses on acting techniques, body language, observational skills, voice modulation, diction and speech.
This will provide a unique knowledge practice based techniques, which is very important to acquire in this career. All kind of genres like tragedy, comedy, drama is the focus of the workshop.
The participants are interacting with the experts and are exploring about the Prop making, make-up, light design, stage set up, costume designing and even more.
The participants are also being trained in theatre music. The participants are told about different instruments used in producing theatre music which they will present in the play.
