Addressing a series of public meetings in the district in support of Ashray Sharma, grandson of former Union Minister Sukh Ram, former chief minister Virbhadra Singh abruptly took a U-Turn reviving his political rivalry with the former Telcom minister.
“I cannot forgive Pandit Sukh Ram for his misdeeds when he was in power. He hobnobbed with BJP and formed his own political outfit HVC in connivance with Prem Kumar Dhumal by stabbing at the back of Congress. He even joined the BJP," Virbhadra Singh lamented.
At a rally on April 25 held after filing the nomination by Ashray, the grandson of Sukh Ram, the veteran apparently sought an apology from Virbhadra Singh for not cooperating with him in the past and assured to work together in future.
