A contingent of 20 Soldiers of United Arab Emirate (UAE) Army successfully completed a drill course at Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Friday. The one and half month course had commenced on July 15.
On Friday, a closing ceremony of the course was held at Kheterpal auditorium in which the Commandant of the IMA, Lieutenant General S K Jha gave away the certificates and mementos to all the trainees. Warrant Officer, Ahmad Mohammad Yousuf Haider Alblooshi was awarded the trophy for being adjudged as the best student in the drill course. The Commandant also addressed the gathering and conveyed his best wishes and commended the soldiers for having successfully completed the course.
He added that this initiative and military cooperation will strengthen the bond between the two friendly nations.
The Deputy Defence Attache of UAE, Col Farah Aida Helai Almazrouei also attended the ceremony.
