Bhopalites enjoyed tribal dances of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat on Friday. The performances were held under event Dharohar focusing on tribal dances and traditional dishes in Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum.
Rup Singh Kusharam (Dindori) along with his fellow artists presented the 'Saila dance' of the Gond tribe to the audience. Saila dance is performed during the moonlight nights of autumn. It was named Saila due to the poles of about a quarter of a hand.
About 15 artists presented this dance to the audience through their artistic dance medium on the song 'Tay Na Na More Na Na Na Naachai God Bajay Pyari Tor' in the museum premises. During the dance performance, Kalarin Bai, Rekha, Sulochana, Mati Bajri Bai, Nahar Singh, Sanjeev, Dalveer and Bihari Bhavedi performed. During the presentation, Shiv Charan Kusharam and Khuman Singh Kusharam supported Mandal, Satish Bhavedi on Timki and Ravi Marco on Shehnai. Mansharam (Harda) along with his fellow performers presented the 'Gadali dance' of the Karku tribe to the audience. This dance is performed in special festivals and festivals. This dance is organized on the occasion of Holi and Deepawali as well as special occasions like marriage and marriage. During the dance performance, Narayan, Ganesh, Tarachand, Annu, Ramrati, Pooja and Jyoti mesmerized the audience with their dancing skills. During the dance performance, Anokhi Lal and Balaram collaborated on the drum and Mansaram and Parshuram collaborated on the flute.
Mori Zakir Bhai (Gir Somnath) presented the 'Siddhi Dhamal Nritya' of the Siddhi tribe to the audience along with his fellow artists. This dance is performed on the occasion of marriage. The enthusiasm and gaiety of the dancing artists in this dance is worth seeing. This dance is usually performed on the drum.
During the dance performance, Zakir, Sahil, Ezaz, Ramadan and Nasuruddin mesmerized the audience with their dancing skills.
