Baman Arzee, a translated Odia version of Chandrahas Choudhury’s English novel “Arzee the Dwarf” was released here on Sunday.
The book has been translated by the writer’s mother Sindhubala Choudhury and published by the Dhauli Books. The book release ceremony was held jointly by the Dhauli Books and the Bakul Foundation. Eminent writer Padma Bibhushan Sitakant Mahapatra released the book in the presence of many writers and intellectuals.
The book, “Arzee the Dwarf”, which describes life history of a Baman (dwarf), has already been translated into Spanish and German languages. Its Odia version “Baman Arzee” is expected to be much accepted by readers.
