There seems to be no respite in sight from the heat in the state during the coming days. The State Meteorological Centre has forecast mainly clear to partly cloudy skies in the state and the provisional state capital Dehradun on Friday.
Dry weather is to prevail in the state. In Dehradun city, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 40 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places of the state on Thursday were 39.7 degree Celsius and 20.3 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 40.7 degree Celsius and 21.9 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 29.8 degree Celsius and 15.5 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar and 29 degree Celsius and 17.4 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
