General administration department, Government of Chhattisgarh has declared general holiday for all government offices and institutions in all the districts on November 1 to mark the Foundation Day of the state.
Earlier, to mark the Foundation Day only in Raipur district the general holiday used to be declared for the government offices and institution as the main function was held in the capital city.
The state government, amending the earlier norms, has now extended it to other districts too.
