State goes for major administrative reshuffle

Chhattisgarh government on Saturday affected a major administrative reshuffle at the top echelon of the state ahead of monsoon session of the assembly. 

A total of 18 officials were given new assignments.

As per the order issued by General Administration department, Dr Manindra Kaur Dwivedi (IAS-1995) has been given charge of principal secretary, gramudyog with additional charge of principal secretary, agriculture (independent charge of horticulture, Mandi Board and Milk Federation).  Apart from the additional responsibilities allotted to her, she will continue to hold her present post of residential commissioner, Chhattisgarh Bhavan, New Delhi.

Pardeshi Siddarth Komal (IAS-2003), secretary, sports and youth welfare department has been given additional charge of secretary, women and child welfare department.

Avinash Champavat (IAS-2003), secretary, water resources , religious bodies and endowment department has been given additional charge of secretary, tourism and culture department.

A.  Kulbushan Toppo (IAS-2003), commissioner Sarguja has been posted as secretary, social welfare and given additional charge of commissioner for the differently abled.

Anil Kumar Tuteja (IAS-2003), joint secretary, secretariat has been posted as joint secretary, commerce and industries and public sector department.

Emil Lakra (IAS-2003) has been posted as commissioner, Sarguja division, Ambikapur.

Taman Singh Sonwani (IAS-2004) has been given additional charge of agriculture and sugarcane commissioner. He is presently joint secretary at the chief minister’s office (CMO) and joint secretary (independent charge) aviation and director aviation.

Mukesh Kumar (IAS-2005) has been made special secretary, horticulture and agriculture while Alex V. F. Paul Menon (IAS-2006) has been posted as special secretary, food, civil supplies and consumer protection department along with additional charge of managing director, Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation, Raipur.

Bheem Singh (IAS-2008) has been posted as managing director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Raipur.

Narendra Kumar Dugga (IAS-2008) has been given charge of managing director, Chhattisgarh State Seed and Agriculture Department Corporation and additional charge of Managing Director, Milk Federation.

Anurag Pandey (IAS-2009) Director, Industries and joint secretary, Commerce and industries department has been shifted as director, local fund and also given additional charge of mission director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural).
