Ticket selling for flight from the Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda to Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad and vice versa began by the Spice Jet on Wednesday. Flight services would resume from the airport from March 31, 2019.
Launching selling of tickets at New Delhi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said flight operations from the Jharusguda Airport to other citiles like Mumbai, Bhubaneswar and Raipur would also begin soon. He said the Jharsuguda Airport would play a role in enhancing State’s economy and establishment of new enterprises.
Pradhan informed that a flight would take off at New Delhi at 1.15 pm and arrive at Jharsgurda at 3.10 pm every day. Similarly, the flight would depart Jharsguda at 3.40 pm and reach Delhi at 5.35 pm. Similarly, the flight would take off from Jharsuguda Airport at 4.10 pm and reach Hyderabad at 6 pm. In reverse journey, the departure and arrival timings are set at 6.30 pm and 8.20 pm, respectively.
The flight, which will run between Kolkata and Jharsuguda, will depart Kolkata at 2.25 pm and reach Jhasgurda at 3.50 pm. In return direction, the flight would depart Jharsuguda at 8.40 pm and reach Kolkata at 10 pm.
