The point that came out of the conference is that whenever they apply premium lenses to any patient, it is very important to first measure the level of the visual axis and the dryness of the eyes with the cornea, retina. The result of the premium lens is good only when it is at a normal level.

The Glaucoma session was chaired by Dr. Shailendra Kumar Singh, Dr. Lalit Jain, Dr. Vinay Gupta and Dr. C.B. P. Singh. The discussants of this session were Dr. Poonam Singh, Dr. Tirthjit Moitra and Dr. Rashi Shyam.

In the first and second session of cataract, Dr. Bharti Kashyap, Dr. Bibhuti Bhushan, Dr. Sagar Bhargava, Dr. Purendra Bhasin, Dr. Malay Dvivedi, S.K. K. Mitra presented his scientific papers.

Dr. Purendra Bhasin threw light on the management of cataracts due to necrosis. He threw special light on what should be cautious during the implantation of a toric lens in patients who already have cylindrical power in the eye.

Dr. Bharti Kashyap, in her research paper, stated that visualization of the eyes prior to implantation of premium intraocular lenses such as multifocal, trifocal and extended depth of focus intraocular lenses and toric lenses and higher order abrasion of the cornea is very important because they are more prone to premature intracellular lenses. The result of the transplant is not good and many times the patient is not happy.

In the third session of Cataract Surgery, Dr. Bharti Kashyap presented her paper on the challenges faced during the surgery of brightly overcooked cataracts, Dr. B. P. Kashyap also suggested to reduce the increased eye pressure during cataract surgery. Kumar Saket, Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Dr. Vijaya Jojo presented their scientific paper.
