Keeping in view of cold wave like condition across the state, the school timing for school going children have been changed across the state by separate orders issued by district collectors.
The timing will be effective from December 31.
According to District Education Officer, Raipur the schools having two shifts, the new school timings for junior school will be from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm while for senior section it will be from 12.45 pm to 5.00 pm.
For the single shift, there will be no change of timing from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The order will be effective in all the government, private, government aided school and Madrasa schools. The order will be effective till January 10, 2020.
A similar order has also been issued by District Education Officer, Kabirdham effective for all schools under the district.
