Morena, Mehgaon, Lahar, Sendhwa, Gwalior, Bhind, Dabra and Gohad recorded 1 cm of rainfall in the past 24 hours.
Due to light showers in the early morning hours and cold weather conditions in the night day temperature dipped by 4 degree Celsius in the past 24 hours and recorded at 26.3 degree Celsius.
Rainfall at isolated places in the state capital was witnessed in the early morning hours on Wednesday making morning cold.
Several places in Chambal divisions witnessed rainfall and few places in Gwalior, Bhopal and Ujjain divisions witnessed rainfall in the past 24 hours. Cloud cover remained through the day and clear sky was seen for brief period late in the afternoon.
The coldest place of the state recorded 9 degree Celsius as night temperature at Nowgong and Datia. Ujjain division recorded significant increase in the night temperatures.
According to the forecast thundery activities and rainfall would be witnessed in Sagar and Rewa divisions, Bhopal, Vidisha, Indore, Shajapur, Ujjain, Shivpuri, Datia, Bhind and Sheopur Kalan.
The forecast regarding state capital suggest that partially cloudy conditions and light rainfall along with thundery activities would be witnessed in the next 24 hours.
The day and night temperatures of the state capital would be recorded around 26 and 12 degree Celsius respectively.
Across the state day temperatures have dipped below 30 degree Celsius while night temperatures have not recorded significant dip in the temperatures.
