Public Works Department (PWD) has invited suggestions from the residents, public representatives, business community, architects, intellectuals and media personnel on the sky-walk under construction from Medical College Hospital to Shastri Chowk to Jaistambh Chowk in Raipur capital city.
The suggestions can be given till June 15, 2019.
Suggestions are sought on the following points: should the under-construction sky-walk be completed and utilised, should it be put to any other use or in other form, should the sky-walk be dismantled and is there any alternative suggestion replacing the under construction sky-walk.
The PWD has stated that suggestions within the specified period from June 1 to June 15, 2019 should be given along with the bio-data of the person in the suggestion box of PWD office or through e-mail skywalkraipur@gmail.com till 5.00 pm. The suggestion can be dropped at Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, (Bridge Construction Division), Sirpur Bhawan, Campus, Behind Akashwani, Raipur.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during the joint meeting of public representatives and officials convened over under construction sky-walk on March 1, 2019 at Chhattisgarh State Assembly committee chamber had directed to seek opinion on the issue from people, public representative, and business community. Based on the suggestions, next action will be taken.
