Punjab Forest Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot on Wednesday assured the Department’s daily wagers, covered by the State Government policy, that the process to regularize their services would begin soon. He also reiterated that the just demands of the organisations would be met soon.
Dharamsot, during his meeting with various employee organisations of the Forest Department, said that the officials must release the seniority list of the daily wagers by December 31.
He also directed that the seniority list should be finalised after inviting objections from all the employee organisations by November 30.
Dharamsot also directed the screening committee, formed regarding the seniority list, to hold a special meeting in the first week of November and dispose of the pending issues too.
