Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced on Sunday for setting up of modern Forensic Science Lab and Scene of Crime Building, Model Police station building and Senior Officers Mess at Chhattisgarh State Police Academy.
Baghel was speaking as the chief guest in passing out parade of 23 Deputy Superintendent of Police (Ninth Batch) and 12 Sub Inspector Transport, Telecommunication (Second Batch) at CGSPA, Chandrakhuri on outskirts of Raipur.
Addressing the gathering, Baghel said, Rs Rs being naxal-infested state; police have increased challenges and responsibilities’’. He called upon new officials to Rs be innovative and utilise new techniques but for which they should be first remain alert’.
Presiding over the function, Tamradhwaj Sahu said criminals should fear police but always the officers-employees should follow the model code first.
Director General of Police D.M. Awasthi said the new police officers after 9 months of training will be sent for field training. DIG Neha Champawat administered oath to the new recruits.
