Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress chief Mohan Markam on Tuesday met senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at the national capital. All India Congress Committee (AICC)’s Chhattisgarh in-charge P.L. Punia was also present on this occasion.
According to Congress sources Markam briefed Gandhi about the state of affairs in the organisation in Chhattisgarh and had “some serious discussions” on contemporary issues.
Markam also briefed Gandhi about organisational activities in the state and about the future programmes and plans, sources said.
Sources said the PCC Chief also deliberated with Gandhi on restructuring of state organisation and also performance of the state government in Chhattisgarh.
