Moderate spell of rainfall was witnessed on Wednesday in the State Capital which was due to local system development and the weather conditions would attain normalcy in the next 24 hours in the State Capital said weatherman.
For the second consecutive day rainfall was witnessed at several places. The rainfall which continued due to cyclonic system over east western Arabian Sea has brought heavy moisture in the state and induced rainfall for the past 3-4 days. More than 25 districts are likely to witness rainfall in the next 24 hours while remaining regions of the state would remain dry. The state capital recorded day temperature at 29.3 degree Celsius and night temperature at 20 degree Celsius and according to the forecast the day and night temperatures are likely to be around 30 and 18 degree Celsius respectively.
In the past 24 hours rainfall has been witnessed at several places. Bhainsdehi recorded the highest rainfall at 12 cm of rainfall, Chicholi recorded 5 cm of rainfall, Harda recorded 4 cm of rainfall.
The temperatures dipped but weather conditions were hot and humid. In regions which witnessed heavy rainfall temperatures have dipped significantly.
Hoshangabad and Nowgong recorded highest day temperature at 34 degree Celsius and lowest night temperature was recorded at 15 degree Celsius in Betul.
In Chambal and Indore divisions day temperatures witnessed significant increase. The day temperatures recorded increase in Sagar division. In the changed weather conditions Ujjain, Indore, Bhopal, and Jabalpur divisions witnessed rainfall.
