PCC president Niranjan Patnaik thanked the people of the State for participating in the biggest democratic festival of the country in large numbers that ended in the State on Monday.
Patanik thanked the Presiding Officers, Elections Officers and other poll officials for smooth conduct of elections in the 21 Lok Sabha constituencies and 146 Assembly segments.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Congress’ central and State leaders, candidates, party workers and supporters for participating in the election process.
He assured that despite the Congress being unable to compete with the BJD and the BJP’s expensive campaigning, it would fulfil all its promises made in its manifesto.
Lastly, Patnaik expected that the poll results would go in favour of the Congress.
