New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has announced to introduce smart classes in its primary sections and Navyug schools from the forthcoming academic session. A decision to this effect has been taken on the basis of the 8573 feedback received from the students, administrators and parents, NDMC Secretary Rashmi Singh said.
Singh said that the civic body has introduced tablet based Wi-Fi enabled class rooms as a pilot project and it would be implemented in 27 secondary and senior secondary schools this year.
“All the schools under the NDMC would be equipped with fiber based digital connectivity, digital libraries, up gradation of laboratories, auditoriums, joyful libraries, swimming pool, language lab and other new innovative technology,” she said.
