Students from Nagaland visited Sanchi Buddhist-Indian Institute here on Wednesday.
It is to be noted that these students are on a tour of Madhya Pradesh from February 25 to 28, under an Sarvshrestha Bharat Abhiyan.
These students of North-Eastern States are being taken to the educational institutions of the state along with historical and tourist places.
In this connection, the 12 students and two professors from Nagaon's various polytechnics reached Sanchi University.
These students communicated with the students of Sanchi University and went on to learn about each other's culture.
These students study in various departments of Polytechnic.
They are students studying in civil engineering, food technology, computer science etc. Jessi a student of the Computer Science Department, said that there are actually 16 different tribes in Nagaland.
All of these have their own language and their culture. Who are originally known as Naga Tribes. T. Myarangan, a young man of ITBP (Indian Tibetan Border Police) who is studying in the Chinese language department of Sanchi University, told the students of Nagaland about the University.
The students of Nagaland spent some time in the university's central library too. The interest of these students was visible in the books of Sanskrit, Buddhist philosophy books. The students displayed curiosity in the books of these subjects. All of them spoke candidly with the students of Sanchi University and took information about the culture of Madhya Pradesh and the courses of Sanchi University.
Students and teachers of Nagaland visited the park of Sanchi University and enjoyed a flowery orchard and also eat sour-sweet berry from the plum trees engaged in the university campus.
Interacted with foreign students from Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal and other countries studying at the University and took keen interest in various university courses.
