BJP National Executive President Jagat Prakash Nadda today exhorted party workers to put their all out efforts for Assembly elections in State so that the party can cross the target of 65 plus seats in 81-member Assembly. While addressing a workers conference in Lohardaga, Nadda said that the BJP has been breaking its own records and with the dedication of workers it will surely win Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Kerala, Tamilnadu and Telangana.
On the first day of his two-day visit to poll bound Jharkhand, Nadda addressed workers conference in Lohardaga and Gumla on Friday asking them to gird loins for the Assembly polls. “It is due to your dedication and enthusiasm we broke our own record of 281 seats in 2014 and secured 303 seats in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Further the government removed Article 370 from Kashmir and soon delimitation of constituencies will also take place. The BJP also removed triple talaq, which was long pending due to nonchalant attitude of Congress,” he said.
Nadda said that the membership campaign that was launched after the formation of the government has added more than 5.81 crore new workers in the BJP in 56 days. “This is the number of members registered so far. But, if we count other registered members in the coming days, this number will reach about 7 crores. In these 56 days, 1.85 lakh workers have added new members. Along with this over 19.66 lakh saplings have been planted. We are fortunate that we are all members of the BJP. It is possible in the worker based BJP that a member can become Prime Minister of India and National Executive President of BJP today without any political history,” he said.
The BJP national executive president said that 10.74 crores families and 55 crores people have joined Ayushman Bharat, 14 crores farmers were provided Rs 87 crores under Krishi Samman Nidhi Yojana, 3 crores pension of 14 crores farmers, 3 thousand rupees pension of 2 crore retail shopkeepers have been ensured. Eight crore women were freed from smoke by giving them gas cylinders. This is a picture of a changing India. It is the great responsibility of the party workers to take these things to the booth level, said he.
Addressing the gathering Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP registered a huge victory. “In Jharkhand too, we won 12 seats out of 14, rejecting all analysis. This was possible due to hard work of party workers. Now in the 2019 Assembly elections, we all workers have to show the same dedication and honesty. We have to go beyond 65 while doing politics of service. We have jumped into this war of politics and you are activist soldiers of Jharkhand Assembly elections,” said he.
Das said that the State was known for corruption for 14 years. There was political instability, but now there is a stable government. “After 2014, not a single charge of corruption was levelled against the government. Today the government of double engine is being discussed all over the country. With these things, you tell your voters on the booth label so that they can know the working style of BJP. In order to reach the top in BJP, workers do not have to be born in a particular family. A member of a poor family can also become Prime Minister, Chief Minister. But other parties do not have it. There is no politics of dynasty, libel and sectism in the BJP. We are in favour of the politics of development,” he added.
Union Minister Arjun Munda said on the occasion that BJP is creating new history with its traditional culture. “We are following the principles of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. The Kashmir, for which Shyam Prasad launched a revolution, the Prime Minister demonstrated the creative power and replaced with two symbols with one. I started the Adi Mahotsav in Leh Ladakh and told that India is one. Now you workers should be ready for the upcoming election. Now all of us have to work relentlessly towards achieving the resolution and achieving the goal of crossing 65. Together we will achieve this goal,” said Munda.
State BJP president Lakshman Gilua, Ministers CP Singh, Neelkanth Singh Munda, MP Sudarshan Bhagat, MLAs Navin Jaisawal, Jeetu Charan Ram alongwith hundreds of party workers were present on the occasion.
