With the demand for a permanent Orissa High Court Bench in undivided Koraput district, the members of Joint Action Committee (JAC) met Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan here on Monday.
A team headed by Nabarangpur District Bar Association president and vice chairman of JAC Narashinga Tripathy, along with Bijay Deo, Dama Tripathy and Hari Behera, met the Union Minister.
“He assured us all support for establishment of a permanent HC Bench at any place in undivided Koraput. He further said the demand will be appraised before the Union Law Minister to fulfil the aspiration of people of undivided Koraput districts,” they told.
