Modi to interact with BJP leaders, ministers today

Senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party and ministers in the Yogi Adityanath government will take part in a video conference through NaMo app to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take part in the video conference from Amethi, the parliamentary constituency of Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

BJP spokesman Himanshu Dubey said the Prime Minister would have interaction with over 14,000 party workers and 986 district and city unit presidents spread over 1,495 mandals across the country.

“The interaction will start at 12 noon . According to an estimate, over 10 crore people will be linked with this programme through NaMo app,” Dubey said, adding that this would be world’s first video conference in which crores of workers would be taking part.

Senior ministers in the Yogi government and party leaders have been asked to attend the function at different places. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will take part in video conference in Lucknow and Power Minister Shrikant Sharma in Unnao.
