Foundation stones for six major rural projects under Biju Setu, Nabard and Mukhyamantri Sadak Yojana of Rs 21.38 crore were laid by local MLA and District Paining Committee chairman Mahesh Sahu on March 2. The projects include mainly roads and a bridge.
A meeting was held at Kamparkala Chhak presided by Assistant Executive Engineer, RD, Pallahara, Sujit Behera. MLA Sahu, Zilla Parisad Vice-Chairman Indramani Garnayak and Sub- Collect Pallahara Ajit Kumar Pradhan attended as guests on this occasion.
Notably, there was a long standing demand to connect villages like Kamaparakala, Timi, Dalo, Jamardihi, Barhakudar and Balim with roads.
