An incident of a minor girl being gangraped in the Steel City came to the fore on Sunday after police arrested three persons in connection with the case.
All the accused are being interrogated at the Sector-7 police station.
Sources said that the girl had gone missing on September 22, following which her family members were searching for her. The family members then lodged a complaint with police regarding the matter.
During investigation, police found the girl in an unconscious state lying near a bush adjoined a school. The victim was admitted to the Ispat General Hospital in Rourkela.
Based on the statement of the victim, the three accused persons were arrested, said the police. Further investigation into the matter was underway.
