Forest Minister Umang Singhar has said that a bio-diversity conservation action plan of the State will be made with integrated participation of forest dwellers, people of the State and forests. He said that once again Madhya Pradesh has made the country proud in tiger count.
In India, Madhya Pradesh was ranked first in the first tiger calculation cycle with 300 tigers in 2006.
In the fourth tiger calculation cycle held in the year 2018 also, the state secured first place with the maximum number of tigers.
