A mega marathon was held here on the occasion of the World Heart Day on Sunday in which thousands of people of different age groups participated to create awareness among denizens about heart health.
The participants raced at the marathon, jointly organised by the Sambad Group and the Kalinga Hospital, from the main gate of the hospital to the Sainik School before returning to the venue.
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tusharkanti Behera and ‘Sambad’ editor and Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik were present.
