BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya here on Wednesday said that different leaders have their own Congress party. He was apparently taking a dig on speculations that newly elected Kantilal Bhuria could be the next Congress State president.
While talking to mediapersons here, Vijayvargiya said, “You have as many Congress as many leaders they have. Kamal Nath’s Congress is different so as that of Digvijay Singh and Jyotiraditya Scindia. You can’t figure out who allies with whom to outsmart which leader.”
Vijayvargiya was here for taking part in protest march till Rajbhavan on the issue of bifurcating Bhopal Municipal Corporation. Senior BJP leader protesting the move from Congress government had taken out the march and handed memorandum to the governor.
The leader known for his stinging takes on opponents further claimed when Digvijay Singh had lost, Kamal Nath and Scindia had allied and when Scindia lost, Nath and Digvijay Singh came together.
All these things continue in the Congress party and this also Congress culture, said the former MLA.
Vijayvargiya’s remark came close on the heels of Kantilal Bhuria’s name being floated by PWD minister Sajjan Singh Verma for the post of PCC chief, days after his win in Jhabua assembly bypoll.
Notably, till now Jyotiraditay Scindia was lobbying hard for the post among others.
However due to the bypoll, the party had put the decision on hold. Bhuria also visited Bhopal and was accorded warm welcome at PCC over his bypoll win. The senior leader did not offer a candid reply on him being speculated as the next PCC chief.
Vijayvargiya also slammed Congress government over suicide of Raisen farmer saying the ruling party had promised loan waiver and budget of the farmers went haywire due to this false promise.
