The Koh-e-Fiza police have booked a property dealer who duped victim to the tune of Rs 7.4 lakh; police have registered after court issued orders for registering case against accused.
Police said that the victim Naeem Khan was duped to tune of Rs 7.4 lakh in Panchavati in the year 2005. The accused collected Rs 7.4 lakh from the victim in parts after the deal was done.
The victim in his complaint claimed that the accused Ramakant Vijayvargiya who assured him that a plot would be provided in Panchvati colony and the deal was struck at Rs 7.4 lakh but he was never provided with the land or returned money.
After the victim failed to get money or land he lodged complaint but nothing happened over the complaint and later he filed case in the court and on Monday court ordered to register case. Police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC. Meanwhile, MP Nagar police have booked five persons including a woman for duping a 52-year-old man in the name of multiplying on his investment in insurance. Police said that the victim Asif Ali was duped by the accused Neeraj, Atul, Dheeraj, Akash and Anita.
In his complaint the victim stated that he was assured that his investment of Rs 40000 would become Rs 1 lakh which never happened. The victim invested the money in the year 2017. After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC and started investigation.
