The State Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms at isolated places, especially, in the mountainous areas on Sunday. The overall weather for the State will remain mainly clear to partly cloudy.
In Dehradun city, the sky is likely to remain mainly clear to partly cloudy. Thunder cloud developments are likely to occur in some areas of the city.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected at around 37 degree Celsius (maximum) and 25 degree Celsius (minimum) respectively.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places of the State on Saturday were 37.9 degree Celsius and 26.1 degree Celsius in Dehradun, 37.2 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 25.2 degree Celsius and 15.9 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar, 28.4 degree Celsius and 19.4 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
