The 4-day event 'Jan Utsav' started at Gandhi Bhavan on the arrival of 'Jai Jagat yatra' in Bhopal. Jai Jagat Yatra is a year-long footmarch from Delhi to Geneva on the move for world peace and justice, initiated on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Ba-Bapu.
Marking the second day of Jan Utsav, two mesmerising events were organised. Bal Mela and Open Art Space for youth were held here on Friday. The events witnessed a huge footfall of the art lovers of the city. Under Bal Mela a lot of activities were held for the children.
Besides, during Open Art Space the youngsters showcased their creativity through art. Beautiful and eye catching art pieces were created in the Open Art Space. The second day of Jan Utsav was folled with enthralling experoences of fun and art.
As a part of this, a Youth Conclave is being organised on November 30 in which youth speakers from across the nation will share their views and talk about their exper iences around 4 major themes including Eradicating Poverty, Eliminating Social Exclusion, Acting on Climate Crisis and Halting conflict and violence. The on-spot registrations for the Youth Conclave will begin at 9 am on Saturday.
The Youth Conclave will continue till December 1. This two-day youth conclave will also include art and cultural performances by renowned artists like Kavish Seth, Megha Dalton and a Bhopal based band named Rutbaa.
