Inner Wheel Club's bid to boost orphans

The Inner Wheel Club (326) of Brahmapur has launched the “Miracles Mission Yojana” and is going to observe “Mission Mamata Week" fromAugust 1 to 8, a five - year ambitious plan to end orphanhood in India.

 Inner Wheel Club PRO Ratna Mani Cotton said that the core objectives of the ambitious scheme, among other things, are to create awareness, encourage adoption, foster care, guardianship, merge old age home and orphanage, etc.

Cotton further said that, ‘Miracles’ do happen in the realistic world.

 The Misson Mamata has paved the way in encouraging adoption and creating awareness among the public in general and senior citizens in particular.

Mention may be made that, ‘Mission Mamata’ is being celebrated all over India from August 1 to 8 every year.

 During celebration of the week, a series of mass media programmes, seminars and rallies are held to create awareness among the public.

Cotton made an appeal to well- to -do senior citizens to come forward to adopt an orphan and join in the noble endeavour.
