CM wishes PM for second term
Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath has extended hearty greetings and good wishes to Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of the state and on his own behalf for assuming the responsibility of as Prime Minister of India. The Chief Minister has expressed confidence that the interests of Madhya Pradesh will be taken care of. He assured cooperation of Madhya Pradesh Government in ensuring the benefits of the Central Government's development schemes to the people. He also desired central assistance for innovative welfare schemes of Madhya Pradesh.
Various projects of Rajgarh reviewed
Bhopal: Urban Development and Housing Minister Jaivardhan Singh on Thursday reviewed various projects of Rajgarh and Guna district at the Mantralaya. He gave instructions to Additional Chief Secretary Water-Resources, M Gopal Reddy to get the canals of Sanjay Sagar dam repaired. Singh directed to extend the canal of Sunahari dam so that a few more villages could avail benefits. He said that the process of obtaining approval for the work of Kumbharaj, Aaron and Suthaliya dam should be speeded up. Singh told to prepare the project report for micro irrigation in Sunahari, Khamkheda and Kherai. He held a discussion related to the dam to be constructed on Mohanpura, Kundaliya, Ghatakhedi and Parvati river.
Steps for better water supply projects
Bhopal: Israel can provide technical support in the daily drinking water supply projects in 378 urban bodies in the state. Also Israeli technology can be used in recycling, water management, conservation and water treatment too. Urban Development and Housing Minister Jaivardhan Singh today urged this during a discussion with Israel's Consul General Yaakov Finkelstein. Singh said that Israel is a pioneer in the field of water conservation. There is better availability of water in Israel despite low rainfall. He said that water management can be started with the support of Israel in the municipal corporations. Singh said that there is a plan to purchase 500 electric buses for local transport in the state. Israel may join the tender process. He said that Israel could also set up other industries, including the production of electric buses in Madhya Pradesh. Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Sanjay Dubey gave information about Amrit City -the Greenfield Smart city under construction in Satna. He said that the Israel may be included in the International Green Bond issued by the state.
Minister emphasises on cleanliness drive
Bhopal: Urban Development and Housing Minister Jaivardhan Singh said that cleanliness campaign based on Indore model should be launched in all local bodies of the state. He said the campaign should be constantly monitored. Singh reviewed departmental schemes at the Mantralaya. Singh said that the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swabhiman Yojana must be implemented in a better way. Necessary amendments must also be proposed in this as per convenience of the youth. Singh said that the works being undertaken in smart city should be completed within the prescribed time limit. Singh said that rules for regulation of marriage houses should be made soon. Issues like pollution and parking should be focused in the rules. He said that provision should be made to penalize those who do not abide by the rules. Singh also reviewed other schemes including Urban Institute of India, Water Supply, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and Chief Minister’s Urban Infrastructure Development Programme etc. Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Sanjay Dubey, Commissioner Urban Administration Gulshan Bamra, Commissioner Housing Board Caralyn Khongwar Deshmukh, Director Town and Country Planning Rahul Jain and Additional Commissioner Urban Administration Swatantra Singh were present in the meeting.
Sewa Sadan staff get Fire fighting Training
Bhopal: Fire fighting Training have been Imparted to employees of Sewa Sadan eye Hospital here today. They were told about the three methods of fire fighting like dry chemical powder, use of clean agent and Spray of Corbon dioxide gas. Training was imparted by Saiem khan of Vijay Fire Services.
