PhD awarded to BK Pandey
PhD has been conferred on Binay Kumar Pandey for his research paper on ‘Human Values in the plays of Siddhnath Kumar’. The examination for the the degree was held in August 2019 and the search supervisor was Dr Mahakaleshwar Prasad, Department of Hindi, Ranchi College, Ranchi.
Students say ‘No’ to plastic
Students of class prep at DPS, Ranchi staged an activity on “Say No to Plastic”. This event was addressed to all the sections of prep so that they will spread this information to their families and friends. The students showed how plastic bags looked quite useful but with time how harmful it turns to be. The environment looks natural space just like us to work properly. The students presented their views about the alternative materials that can be used in place of plastic bags. They urged people to use biodegradable bags made from fabrics as an alternative.
Six railway employees retire
A total of six railway employees of Ranchi Rail Division retired on Friday. All payments of these employees were made in relation to retirement. On this occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations) MM Pandit said that “Railways is an unprecedented institution in itself. Its employees are committed and diligent. The latest technology is implemented here. We are proud that we belong to the railway family. You should spend your future life to fulfil your interests.”
