In an interesting disclosure, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat claimed that it was he who brought Teerath Singh Rawat to shakha of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS). Teerath is the BJP candidate from Garhwal Lok Sabha seat.
CM informed that Teerath at that time was a student of Class XI.
The CM said when Teerath contested his first election, he had not a single paisa in his hand but even then he won the election by a huge margin. He said Teerath comes from a family of army personnel and claimed that he would win the election comfortably.
