Dejected over arrest of notorious criminal and watch list criminal of Aishbagh, his wife has raised allegations against house owner in Teelajamalpura of sexual assault. The accused was serving period of externment but still living in the State Capital.

Police said that the house owner Iqbal Kabadi was booked for sexually assaulting wife of notorious criminal who was nabbed few days back after his house owner Iqbal informed the police.

In the investigation, police found that the criminal rented Iqbal’s house in Teelajamalpura a month ago and when Iqbal asked for identity proof, he would escape with excuses and later Iqbal informed the police. During the investigation, police found that the accused is a notorious criminal serving externment and was nabbed by Teelajamalpura police.

Iqbal asked details from the criminal and his wife after hearing announcements by police of providing details of tenants.

The two failed to produce documents and later Iqbal informed the police and criminal was nabbed and action was taken against him. Dejected over her husband’s arrest his wife alleged that Iqbal has sexually assaulted her.

After the preliminary investigation police have registered a case of sexual assault against Iqbal while action for violating term of externment has been imposed on the criminal but arrest of Iqbal is not done as police suspects that allegations are raised by woman after her husband was nabbed by police on the information provided by Iqbal.

Iqbal has also claimed that the couple was demanding Rs 1 lakh before lodging complaint against him.
