House burgled at Khajuri road with valuables worth Rs 2 lakh

Miscreants targeted a house at Khajuri road and escaped with valuables worth Rs 2 lakh on Monday; Piplani police have started investigation.

Police said that the house owner Rahul Kuamr along with his family had gone to his sister’s house in Tulsi Nagar in the night on Sunday and when he returned on Monday they found the valuables burgled.

A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Piplani police and in his complaint, he stated that he along with his family had gone to his sister’s house in Tulsi Nagar and when they returned their house was found burgled.

After they returned they found that locks were found broken and on entering the house goods and jewelry were found burgled.

The victim claimed that gold and silver jewelry and cash were burgled. The victim has claimed that the total loss in the burglary is around Rs 2 lakh.

Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Police said that the CCTV footage of the nearby installed cameras would be searched in the further investigation.

The neighbours were not aware of the burglary. The domestic help and security guard would be quizzed in the further investigation.

The burglary was committed in a short period of time which suggests that the miscreants were aware of the whereabouts of the victim. The victim works as a faculty with IPER College in Misrod.
