In the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun’s board meeting which is scheduled on June 3 the first proposal has been submitted by the mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’ himself. The proposal is for placing hi-tech mobile toilets at the four entry points of the city.The mayor said, “Keeping in view the mission of proper cleanliness in the city and also considering the request we have been getting for installing toilets at the entry points of the city I have submitted the first proposal.
This will be raised in the board meeting and further will be approved with the consent of the councillors. These will be installed after the board meeting on June 3.”It is important to mention that the four points where the mobile toilets are proposed to be placed include a point near Mohkampur, Subhash Nagar, Premnagar and Mussoorie bypass area.
Talking about these points he said, “This will ensure the cleanliness at the entry points. Further, also considering the tourists who visit Dehradun, these toilets will be convenient and clean,” the mayor added.
