Even as problems of chemists and druggists are not within legal framework, still attempts would be made to resolve them. But not a single poor person would be denied health needs, said Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das here on Sunday.
Joining the annual general body meeting of the Utkal Chemists and Druggists Association, Jharsuguda unit, Das said that a healthy lifestyle is possible through regular practice of yoga and pranayam. People can maintain a healthy lifestyle by following the Indian culture and traditions, he added.
The Minister said he has joined hands with Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari and Brajrajnagar MLA Kishore Mohanty for development of Jharsuguda.
MP Pujari said that all have a social responsibility for upliftment of moral values of the society and MLA Mohanty assured to solve the problems of medicine trade. Association president Jayant Dikhit requested the people’s representatives for a new building of the association at Jharsuguda.
He also said that the medicine trade is facing problems due to online sale. Replying to him, Drugs Controller Mamina Patnaik said that the Government is very much aware of the problems of the association and would take steps to solve it.
