Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the construction of four lanning of Ambala–Saha road through video conferencing. An expenditure of Rs 220 crore is expected to be spent for the construction of 14.840 km long road on NH-444A.
Giving details of the project, Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij said that this road will be constructed from Ambala to Saha, for the convenience of the people to get easy road access.
Vij informed that he had met Gadkari several times for the construction of this road.
As a result, the foundation stone for road construction has been laid, the construction work of which will be completed soon as all necessary formalities have been completed for this. In addition to this, the Haryana Government has given administrative approval of Rs 292.08 lakh for the repair of cement concrete of Ballabhgarh-Samipur-Sarmathla road in Faridabad district, he added.
