Out of the total 492 polling stations, Gurugram district has 229 sensitive and 263 highly sensitive polling booths for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In order to ensure free and fair elections on May 12 for the Gurugram Parliamentary constituency, the district administration has made elaborate security arrangements with extra emphasis o sensitive and hyper sensitive polling booths.
Gurugram District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amit Khatri said that “Out of the sensitive and highly sensitive polling booths, 48 are in Gurugram Assembly segment, 192 in Sohna assembly constituency, 89 in Pataudi assembly constituency and 163 booths in Badshahpur assembly area”.
The DC further said, “In Sohna assembly constituency , there are 78 sensitive and 114 highly sensitive booths, Pataudi assembly constituencies has 44 sensitive and 45 susceptible ones, 77 sensitive and 86 highly sensitive in the Badshahpur constituency and 30 sensitive and 18 highly sensitive booths in Gurugram assembly area. There will be deployment of additional forces alongwith the police force” .
Khatri said that the booths in Pataudi assembly constituency have been declared as sensitive, the booth no. 6 of village Musadpur, two booths of village Mahchana- 21,22 villages, 2 booths of Khawaspur -34,35, three booths of village Jamalpur - 41, 42,43, a booth of village Javath-75, two booths of village Sherpur -79, 80, three booths of village Junnoula -101,102, 103, two booths of village Naharpur casan117, 118, three of village Nakharulla Booth-126,127, 128, seven booths in Manesar- 132 to 138, village Nainwal - 139, a booth of village Sahrawan - 140, two booths of village Kukdaula - 141, 142, a booth of village Gwalior (Panchgaon) - 143, four booths of village loci - 216, 217, 218 and 219, three of village Bilaspur Booth 225,226,227, a booth of village Bhorka-235 and four booths of village Patharidi -237 to 240 are included.
Similarly, 45 booths of Pataudi assembly constituency have been declared very sensitive, in which three booths of 31, 33, 33 villages of village Taledev, 4 booths - 49, 50, 51, 52, twelve booths of village Hailimandi - From 54 to 65, 11 booths of village Bhadakalan- 152 to 162, three booths of village Malehera -166, 167, 168, three booths of village Nankulan- 199, 200, 201, four booths of village khod- 207, 208 , 209, 211, and four booths - 228, 229, 230 and 231 in village Siddarwali.
A total of 48 sensitive and highly sensitive booths have been declared in the Gurugram assembly segment, out of which 30 have sensitive and 18 highly sensitive booths. In the sensitive booths, 30 booths of Gurugram Town are sensitive, including Booth no. 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 82, 83, 84, 193, 194, 195, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220, 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227, 242, 276 and 277.
The highly sensitive booths include Gurugram booth number- 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 243, 244, 245, 262, 263, 264, 265, 266, 267, 269, 270 and 271.
