The Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up by State government to probe Antagarh by-polls tape issue on Wednesday recorded statement of alleged mastermind Firoz Siddique.
The SIT is headed by Raipur Superintendent of Police (SP), Neethu Kamal.
The alleged mastermind of the case Firoz was interrogated by the SIT at Crime Branch Headquarters.
The probe pertains to a case of Antagarh by-polls held in 2014 in which Bhojraj Nag from BJP and Manturam Pawar from Congress were the candidates.
Pawar had withdrawn his nomination at the last minute and the Congress had blamed the BJP of hatching a conspiracy. The BJP had then denied the allegations.
